Samsung Unveils New Fast Output Printer Lineup

SYDNEY, Australia — April 19, 2011 - Samsung Electronics Australia, a leader in digital media and convergence technologies, today announced a new range of printers designed especially for small to medium sized businesses.

Among the new product lines unveiled are the ML-3310/3710 series, its multifunction version the SCX-4833/5637 series, and the ML-5510/6510 series. Each line is uniquely designed to complement the needs of any office in one compact easy-to-use machine.

ML-3310/3710 Series Mono Laser Printers
Samsung’s mono laser printer ML-3310/3710 series are designed for small workgroups looking for a device that offers a productive, economical and versatile printing solution for the office. These users generally have an average monthly print volume (AMPV) of up to 1,500 pages.

Productivity and reliability are at the core of the ML-3310/3710 series. The ML-3710 series is equipped with a 600MHz dual core processor which delivers fast output for large printing jobs with graphs and images. Samsung’s ML-3310/3710 series support various paper types such as thick paper or cardstock and conveniently hold these pages in the cassette. The ML-3710 series and ML-3310ND have a capacity of up to 820 sheets of paper with a second cassette option, whilst the ML-3710 series supports up to 80,000 prints at maximum monthly duty.

With features like a one-touch ECO button that turns on settings like double-sided printing and toner saving mode, the ML-3310/3710 series are an economical way to save paper and toner. The ML-3710 series uses extra high yield toner which can print up to 10,000 pages and results in a lower cost per page and fewer replacements.
Unlike many competitor models in this category, Samsung has included specific anti-jam technology to prevent paper from miss-feeding through multiple pickups. A one-click Wi-Fi connection setup is ideal for today’s busy worker and this ease-of-use will satisfy customers and dealers alike.

Samsung’s ML-3310/3710 series come complete with Samsung’s in-house solution for fleet management and MPS. Samsung SyncThru-Admin remotely monitors and manages all Samsung device and print settings whilst the CounThru solution counts billing and job accounting.

The ML-3310/3710 series is available now, distributed through Ingram Micro, Dynamic Supplies, Dicker Data, Altech, Alloys and Synnex. The ML-3310 RRP is $369, while the ML-3710 RRP is $539.

SCX-4833/5637 Series Mono Laser Multi Function Printers
Samsung’s SCX-4833/5637 series are equipped with four-in-one functionality that enables users to print, scan, copy, and fax through an intuitive interface based on the same powerful engine of the ML-3310/3710. Target customers include small and medium workgroups who need a device that offers a productive, economical and versatile solution for the office.

Samsung’s SCX-4833/5637 series support various paper types such as thick paper or cardstock and conveniently hold these pages in the cassette. The SCX-5637 models’ 600MHz dual core processor delivers faster output with handling large volume documents such as graphs and images. The SCX series has a capacity of up to 820 sheets of paper with second cassette option and can support up to 80,000 prints of maximum monthly duty. In addition to supporting a wide variety of output formats, the SCX-5637 also has 2GB and 4GB respectively of hard disk capacity. This allows users to manage files directly on the machine and provides a useful additional storage resource.

ML-5510/6510 Series Mono Laser Printers
Samsung’s mono laser printer ML-5510/6510 series offer ultimate performance, targeting customers in mid-to-large-sized working groups who usually have an average monthly print volume (AMPV) of up to 10,000 pages and are looking for a device that offers a productive, economical, trouble-free and versatile solution for the office. Key features include a fast output print speed, anti-jam technology, one-touch ECO button, and professional paper handling drivers that improve productivity.

The A4 mono laser printer with a 700MHz CPU offers high productivity with a speed of 52ppm/62ppm as well as a fast output for large volume printing such as graphs and images. Samsung’s ML-5510/6510 series support various paper types such as thick paper or cardstock and conveniently holds these pages in the cassette.

The series support up to 275,000 prints of maximum monthly duty and have separate toner and drum print of up to 30,000 pages and 80,000 pages respectively whilst reducing TCO through the need for fewer cartridge replacements.

SYDNEY, Australia – December 2010 – Samsung Electronics Australia has introduced its latest mono multifunction laser printer, the Samsung SCX-3200, providing you with big performance printing from a desktop sized model. Sized to easily sit on your desk, the Samsung SCX-3200 is designed to deliver productivity and convenience via its ‘one-touch’ features, allowing you to print, scan and copy with the touch of a button.

The Print Screen button featured on Samsung’s new compact printer will provide a quick and easy way to print exactly what you see on your PC screen, at the touch of a single button. Simply hold down the button for more than two seconds and the activated window on your screen will print immediately, without the need for time consuming cropping or editing. Samsung’s SCX-3200 also features fast printing speeds, with a First Page Output Time (FPOT) of just 8.5 seconds, so you can print in a rush without a worry.

Samsung’s latest printer incorporates an easy one-touch Eco Print option which lets you combine two pages into one document, lessening the amount of toner and paper you use while printing. Once you’ve pressed the Eco Print button located conveniently on the front panel of the Samsung SCX-3200 printer, it will become your default setting, saving you time and money.

The Samsung SCX-3200 printer also features Samsung’s AnyWeb Print software, which allows you to select, drag and drop specific content from web pages into a new blank page to be printed or saved depending on your requirements. This feature helps to save precious time and resources by only printing the information you need, rather than entire web pages.

Understanding that office environments are sufficiently hectic without added noise distractions, Samsung’s SCX-3200 compact printer has been engineered to be whisper quiet, generating a noise level of just 49dBA – less than the hum of a running refrigerator!
